Deanne is an equine photographic artist whose work is rooted in a lifelong connection to animals and a deep fascination with the beauty and presence of horses. From an early age, these powerful yet sensitive creatures have been a constant source of inspiration.

Her photographic journey began while studying agriculture at university in Wales, where her connection to the natural world deepened. In 2013, the discovery of studio lighting became a defining moment, shaping a distinctive style that blends technical precision with emotional intimacy.

Early experiences working with challenging horses gave Deanne a profound understanding of equine behaviour, informing her calm, respectful approach to photography. The wellbeing of her subjects remains central to her practice, allowing her to capture authentic expressions that reflect strength, gentleness, playfulness, and wisdom.

A member of the Guild of Professional Photographers and recipient of the Equine Image of the Year Award (2018), she continues to refine her craft through ongoing creative exploration. Her collaborations with clients and their horses have inspired her latest collection, I Dream of Horses, a celebration of the individuality and soulful presence of these remarkable animals
