Samantha lives on the edge of a forest in East Sussex. The flora and fauna of the English countryside provide her with stimulation and joy in equal measure. She has had the privilege to sit in her studio and watch deer wander past the window until she realised they are about to picnic on her prized plants.

Samantha is a keen observer of people and their idiosyncrasies thus providing the catalyst for her uplifting, quirky characters. She primarily works with fluid acrylics, employing a variety of unusual techniques to create the body of each “Fluffball”. Her process can sometimes take up two months to complete.

Samantha’s ethos is, “If I can make the viewer smile and bring joy to a wall, my job is done”.
