Peter Williams is a self-taught UK artist based on the Suffolk coast, where he lives with his partner Jenny and their dogs. Born in 1952, he had a diverse career—including serving in the British Army, teaching, and working as a computer analyst and lorry driver—while always making time for art.

In 2002, he became a full-time artist, was featured in Hertfordshire Life magazine, and later moved to Suffolk. He has been shortlisted multiple times for the David Shepherd Wildlife Artist of the Year award.

Peter works with graphite, colored pencil, charcoal, pastel, watercolors, and inks. His portfolio spans landscapes, seascapes, wildlife, portraiture, and highly detailed illustrations. Influenced by contemporary artists with distinctive styles, he has refined his techniques to develop his own artistic voice, striving to evoke emotion and a spiritual depth that transports viewers beyond realism
