We were in need of good partner in the States that would actually give back to the Estate of Valerie Davide and are delighted to be collaborating with LDN Collections to bring the wonderful works of Valerie’s on an exclusive basis. Val  has long been celebrated as an artist of  unique talent in the UK but her launch in the US is very exciting. I christened Val ‘The Reluctant Genius’ as she never understood the appeal of her work or the way it touches her legions of ardent collectors. She used to say to me ‘Why do people buy my silly scribbles?’ There are many reasons, but for most it is her ability to capture the personalities of the animals she portrayed, their expressions that really speak to you. We know how much joy her charcoal drawings bring to peoples homes and are looking forward to spreading that joy a little further over the pond”
